Ciryl Pierre – Ciryl Pierre was born in Nancy, France and trained at the conservatorie of his native town, before joining Serge Golovine's class at the Ballet school of the Opera de Nationale de Paris.

 

Having graduated, he was engaged at Roland Petit's Ballet National de Marseilee, where he was promoted to the first soloist in 1990 and to etoile (principal) in 1992. Perfomed mail roles on his repertoire was Carmen, Ariesienne, Proust, Ma Pavlova, Coppelia.. with partner as Dominique Khalfouni, Elisabetta Terabust, Altinay Asimuratova.. Four years later, Helgi Tomasson invited him to join San Francisco ballet s a Principal dancer. His San Francisco ballet included all classical roles, Balanchine, Robins, as well as contemporary creations by Helgi Tomason, Jame Kudelka and others.

Together with former partne Lucia Lacara he joined the Bavarian State Ballet as a principal dancer at autumn 2002, dancing important roles as Onegin, Princ Siegfried (Swan Lake) and Abderakhman (Raymonda) in his very first Munich season.

Durin the season 2003/04 he enlarged his repertoire with Gunter in John Neumeier's The Nutcracker, Theseus/Oberon in Neumaier's Midsummer's night dream and Princ Desire in Sleeping beauty (M.Petipa, I.Liška)

As a guest dancer Cyril appeared on stages world wide in full performances (Berlin, Prague, Naples, Milan), as well as in galas mostly together with former partner Lucia Lacarra.

Debut 2007/08 Prospero in the Tempest (J.Mannes), creation Grosse Fuge (H. van Mannen), Adagio Hammerklavier (H. Van Manen)

 

Debut 2008/09 Father in A Cinderella Story (J.Neumaier), Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet (J.Cranko), Shariar in Sheherazade (M.Fokine), Athlet in Les Bitches (B.Nijinska), Zugvogel (J.Kylian) creation.

Debut 2009/110 Abderakham in Raymonda (R.Barra), The balerina's boyfriend in Serie Noire – A choreographyc murder mistery (T.Kohler) creation

Currently ballet teacher at the Bayerischestaatsballet, as well as many private schools in Munich, Japan...

Ballet master for Patrice Bart's Bayadere, Terence Kohler's Helden and assisting for all classical repertoire in Munchen.
